This page contains photographs of Kletsk groups of various types.
Webmaster's Notes: See the same photo with a more extensive caption in the Kletsk Yizkor Book. A theatrical group? |
Webmaster's Notes: Note that interior photographs, other than those taken in studios, are very rare. |
Webmaster's Notes: Very likely this is the local fire brigade on parade near their station in the Kletsk main square. |
Webmaster's Notes: See the same photo with a more extensive caption in the Kletsk Yizkor Book. Very likely the local fire brigade at the same location, 33 years earlier. |
Webmaster's Notes: See the same photo in the Kletsk Yizkor Book. The writing at upper left is Russian. In simplified terms, Kletsk was in Polish territory during the period between WWI and WWII. The actual situation was much more complex. Polish control was not actually established until after an armed conflict little-known outside Eastern Europe, the Polish-Soviet War. |
